Jesus Christ healed in a variety of ways, sometimes by a Word, sometimes by touch, sometimes through and with materials (His garment, spit, or clay), and also by His Presence. Remember, it is our Heavenly Father Who does the work. Jesus gives the power and authority to heal and exorcise demons. God uses us as His instruments in the earth.
An expectation of faith is needed for healing. Miracles were wrought by Peter’s shadow, as well as the other Apostles performing many miracles through the laying on of hands, handkerchiefs, and aprons.
As word of these healings and miracles spread throughout the region, they brought many people. In the very next verse, Acts 5:16, ALL the people who were sick, and those possessed by unclean spirits, were healed.
The opportunity was given to the Apostles. By the miracles and healings performed, there was a physical manifestation of Heavenly origin of the doctrine they preached.
God’s power alone, can rescue sinners from the power of sin and Satan. Jesus Christ will work by and through all His faithful servants. In John 14:12, Jesus promises, “The works that I do, shall you also do, and greater works than these.” Do you have a desire to do the greater works? Do you want to be a Shadow-Walker? Do you have a desire to see the sick healed? The demon possessed delivered? The bound set free? God gives us the desires of our heart.

In Matthew 24:3, the disciples asked Jesus for a sign of His coming, and a sign of the end of the age. Jesus’ first response was, “Be careful that no one misleads you. For many will come in My Name, saying, ‘I am the Christ’ and will deceive many.”
Matthew 7:15 says, “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.”
Matthew 24:24 says, “For there shall arise false christ’s and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
In Matthew 23:13, Jesus said, “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you shut off the Kingdom of Heaven from people. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.”
Hosea 14:9 says, “Who is wise? Let them realize these things. Who is discerning? Let them understand. The ways of the LORD are right; the righteous walk in them.”
Believe not every spirit. Do not confide in everyone who professes to be under the influences of the Holy Spirit. It is important to examine the claims of all who profess to be teachers of Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit. Spiritual discernment develops as you spend time in God’s Word, and God’s Presence.

Saul, was Paul, before his conversion, and he persecuted the followers of Christ Jesus. Paul wrote 2/3 of the New Testament. Saul encountered Jesus on the road to Damacus. How many of us have experienced a supernatural encounter with God?
People often say, “Oh, God spoke to me”, “God showed me in a dream”, “God revealed to me”, or, “I saw Jesus and this happened” (many scenarios). Notice Saul’s response, “Lord, Who Are You?”. You see, Saul knew Jesus of Nazareth (Jesus the Nazarene), but he didn’t acknowledge Jesus as Lord. I want you to know, if you’ve had an encounter with God, He is revealing His purpose for you in the earth.
Notice after the encounter, Jesus gave instructions (directions) as to what Saul was to do next. When God sent Ananias to heal and baptize Saul, God said, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My Name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel.” (verse 15).
God continues to speak to us today in many different ways. As we study His Word, and listen for His Voice, God continues to give us direction and instruction, so we can fulfill what He has called us to do.

Jesus told the disciples that they needed to wait until He sent the Holy Spirit (Divine Assist, Another Comforter). We have been commissioned by Him to witness the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our own communities and to support missionary work all over the world. Jesus is not sending us out alone. He will still be present with us, and we will have great power to fulfill the Will of God. We have the authority to do everything He did and greater works will we do. We are His witnesses. Christ said, “You shall receive power”. That is Dunamis (Greek) (dynamo or dynamite) meaning “miracle-working power”; an inherent power. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is residing on the inside of us! How great is that?! This power destroys the works of the Devil, and equips us for service, to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world, making disciples of all nations. We are not powerless Saints. God is calling us to higher places. Walk in your Power!

All of God’s promises come to us through faith. Faith is the currency of the Kingdom of God. God “calls those things which be not as though they were.” God considers His promises as though they have already been fulfilled, and we should as well. That’s faith.
In Genesis 17, God promises Abraham a son, Isaac, and changes his name from Abram to Abraham, “I have made you a father of many nations”. See, Abraham made up his mind to believe God, although he did not see it happening physically, but he did see it through eyes of faith. God sees the future, and when Abraham believed God, he saw into the future, too.
Abraham simply believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. And since we are the seed of Abraham, the same is true of us. We can confess and meditate the Word of God, believing Hebrews 4:12 that God’s Word is alive and active, and powerful. Believing that God watches over His Word to perform it, and the Word does not return void.
As people who live by faith, we cannot waver or have doubt. (James 1:6-7). You cannot be in fear and be in faith. You cannot be a victim and walk in victory. You cannot doubt and believe. You cannot be sick and be healed. So, like our Father of Faith, you have to have a made up mind. And, as Brother Kenneth Hagin would say, “If the Word says it, that settles it.”

Peter spoke the words in full trust, which indicated faith in the promise of Jesus, and the authority given to them by Jesus.
Believers shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. (Mark 16:17)
When Jesus sent the 12 disciples out two by two. In Mark 6:8, Jesus said, “Take nothing for your journey except a staff (represents authority and power, like Moses) – no bread, no bag, no money in your belts.” They went out and healed many and cast out many demons.
When Jesus sent out the 70 in Luke 10:17, they returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name. We have that same God-given authority. In Luke 10:19, Jesus said, I give you authority (power) to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over ALL the power of the enemy.”
I challenge you to give the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth to someone in need. There is power in the Name. There is salvation in the Name. There is healing in the Name. There is restoration in the Name. There is wholeness in the Name. There is provision in the Name. There is peace in the Name. There are miracles in the Name.

Above everything else guard your heart (your inner man, your mind, your will). We have to guard our hearts against what comes in and only allow that which builds us up, edifies our spirit, and enhances our being filled with the Holy Spirit. The fullness of your heart determines your actions and the course of your life. What corrupts our hearts is what we want to keep out. Corruption comes through what we watch, listen to, do, and sins we commit. If we let in ungodly things, we become ungodly. If we let in Godly things, we become more Godly. When your heart is right and pure, you can obey God’s Word and apply it in your life. If your heart is impure, you will do things with wrong motives.
Solomon mentions four gateways that directly affect the condition of your heart. Gateways let the right things in and keep the wrong things out. Solomon warns that what we let in determines whether we walk in the spirit or walk in the flesh. We must guard our tongue-gate (what you say). We need to keep our mouths free of perversity (unacceptable & unreasonable speaking), and keep corrupt talk far from our lips. We need to say what the Word says. Remember our words have creative power. Life and death are in the power of the tongue.
We must guard our ear-gate (what we hear). We can’t listen to any kind of music, and gossip. We must guard our eye-gate (what we see). We can’t afford to compromise, when it come to what we watch. Let’s fix our eyes on Jesus, and His Word. we must guard our feet-gate (where we go) and focus on walking the right path.
Continuously monitor what is in your heart and eliminate everything that is ungodly. Keeping your heart pure will help you become more Godly, loving, confident, humble, graceful, and forgiving, progressing forward in your purpose – God’s Will for you.

The sons of Issachar understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do. The Issachar Anointing includes intellectual excellence, and biblical expertise that develops through much study of Scripture, as well as insight into revelations, wisdom, and the prophetic, with guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Issachar means reward. They were a tribe whose lifestyle rewarded others. Your sensitivity to God is compensation to other Christians because you are able to know things in the spirit, and have discernment. How many times have you heard someone say, “God, I don’t know what you’re doing, but…”, or “God only You know.”? Indeed, the Sovereign LORD never does anything until He reveals His plans to His servants the prophets. (Amos 3:7)
Prophets and prophetic people are a blessing to the Body of Christ. They pick things up in the spirit. They know what is going on. Times and seasons are extremely important. If you know to do the right thing at the right time, you will never miss out on the benefit of the blessing that God has for you. When you understand the times, you are able to prepare and respond accordingly.
You can progress forward, and it doesn’t matter what’s going on. You are able to prosper in a recession, or have plenty in a famine, etc. Take note of Scripture. Many times prophecy is dual-fold for the time it was written, and for a future time.
Prayer:
Father God, we are thankful, and grateful, that we have Your Word and the Holy Spirit to give us discernment and revelation in understanding the coming times and seasons. Thank you, Father, for the Issachar Anointing, so we can act and take advantage of what’s to come, and so we can impact our generation, our communities, our states, our nations, and our world, in limitless ways. In JESUS’ MIGHTY NAME. Amen!

Paul is referring to them as carnal, as infants in Christ, and he fed them with milk only, because they were not ready for the true meat and treasure of God’s Word. As babies can only tolerate milk and not solid food, so we all walk in different graces and spiritual gifts, but none possess all of them. He gave some Apostles, some Prophets, some Evangelists, some Pastors, some Teachers. There’s an “s” on the end of each. Having spiritual gifts do not prove spiritual maturity. This is why we need to work in unity as the Body of Christ. One may flow in the message of faith, while another flows in healing, and another in prophecy of end times, etc. for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry and edifying of the Body. As leaders and servants of the Most High, we should honor our brothers and sisters who operate in different spiritual gifts and graces. When we show envy, jealousy, strife and discord, it is a sign we are still babies in Christ, although He has given us new life (Carnal/Worldly). Let’s walk in a greater level of maturity, humility, and meekness. United as the Church, without spot or blemish.

As with Esther, God uses people in fulfilling His purpose. We are not here by accident. You are here for a reason. God has chosen us to be here at this time. You, yes you. Your time is NOW. God has saved the best of the best for the home stretch. Let’s get it done!!
If Jesus is your Lord and Savior, then you have been called to be an ambassador, and voice for God in the earth, and commissioned you to share the Gospel. “A chosen generation, a Royal Priesthood”. Rise up, and become the person God made you to be. There are no grey areas with God. The Bible tells us what is right and what is wrong. We have to stop playing church and be the church. Sometimes, the reason we sit idly by, is because we believe that what is occurring doesn’t directly affect us. Which couldn’t be further from the truth. We are at WAR, (good vs. evil), and we need every soldier doing their part for the Kingdom. Armor up. It’s our time!!! For us to do what God has purposed for us, to usher in the greatest move of God any human has ever seen.

Prayer:
Father God, I pray that we will humble ourselves and unite in the name of Jesus. We declare unity in Zion. Father, give us Your heart for others, to love as You love us. We seek Your Holy Spirit, so we all can be in one accord. We thank you for the mind of Christ which allows us to develop actions and deeds of obedience. Father, we will merge with other ministries for one purpose, that Your will be manifested on the earth, and precious fruit will be gathered. As a result, many Nations will hear the gospel, and receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. In the Majestic Name of Jesus Christ, Messiah. Amen.

This is a very powerful verse about faith and confession. Jesus is saying that you can bring to pass whatsoever you say and believe in your heart. The verse mentions “saith” three times, so saying is emphasized. Confession without doubting in the heart. The word doubt in Greek diakrinomai means to hesitate, to waver, or differ. So when the heart and what you say is in agreement, things will come to pass. Creative power is released when the heart and mouth are in agreement. So spend quality time in God’s Word, to have the truth in your heart. God’s Word brings a Divine cleansing and washes our minds and emotions from worldly contamination. So when God’s Word is priority, as it should be, the enemy can’t feed you his lies and deception. Confess (SAY) and believe and you will bring whatsoever into manifestation.
Prayer:
Father God, I want my heart and mouth to be in agreement, so that what I believe will come to pass. I want to continually strengthen myself with Your Word. Remind me, Father, when I’m speaking negative, because I only want to speak Truth, and positive confessions concerning all the areas of my life, so that Your promises will manifest in my life. I give you all the Glory, Honor, and praise. In Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen.

Follow Me
Follow in Greek: Deute means come!, come hither, or come here.
Revelation 4:1; … Come up here, and I will show you what must take place in the future.
The Hebrew root of follow means “heel”, so that when we follow someone, we’re tracing their footsteps. Jesus said, “follow me”, be imitators of me, leave your life, and receive new life in Him. Scripture at John 8:12 says: When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I AM the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life: and Matthew 10:38 says: “Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me.” “Follow me” is not just an invitation but a command. Just as He called the disciples, Jesus wants us to follow Him on a personal, and intimate level. The true believer lives a life of obedience to Christ. So we want to walk humbly, in obedience to all Christ has called us to do, trusting Him. It’s impossible to follow Him without trusting Him, and you cannot follow Jesus without dying to self. Following Him includes learning His Word and applying it to our lives with the help of the Holy Spirit (Who teaches us all things). Following Jesus gives us His mind and positions us win souls for the Kingdom of God.

The world system is against everything that is God, and we know the world system has it’s own agenda, that we can clearly see by what is occurring in the world today. The unsaved and some of God’s children operate in the world’s system, it’s culture, it’s doctrine and it’s way of thinking. The laws that are being enacted violate God’s standards.
We are living in the days when evil is called good and good is called evil. As children of the Most High, we can no longer live with one foot in the world and one foot in the kingdom. That is a deception of the enemy. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and His Word will stand forever. The moment we were born again, we were sanctified, separated (raised with Christ). New creations in Christ Jesus, with the ability to walk in the newness of life.
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special people, to proclaim the virtues of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light” (2 Peter 2:9). As representatives of God, the way we walk, the way we speak (talk), love respond and think (mind of Christ) should be different from the World’s.
Prayer:
Father God, Thank you that we walk in Victory. We are blessed. We know our identity in Christ Jesus. We are thankful that you supply all of our needs. We do not have to depend on the World for anything. Thank you for strength, and grace. We will not be moved, we will not be shaken, we will not compromise to the world’s system. We declare a spirit of boldness, and Holy Ghost fire on your people. Thank you, Father, for peace in our hearts because you have overcome the world. In the Mighty, Matchless Name of Jesus. Amen.

Sound Doctrine
In Hebrew the word for sound is “kol”, meaning “voice”. The Voice of God, God’s Doctrine, God’s Word, The Bible.
We must uphold, teach, and preach sound doctrine, truth in a world of falsehood and darkness. We must value God’s Word highly, so that we can encourage others by sound doctrine and disprove those who oppose truth. The Bible includes a warning neither to add to nor subtract from God’s Word (Revelation 22:18-19 & Titus 1:2).
The best way to know truth from falsehood is to know what the truth is. Sound doctrine is important because what we believe affects what we do. Our behavior comes from our faith and what we believe. “As a man thinketh so is he (Proverbs 23:7). So, how we act comes from what we think. Example: A person that believes that there is no such thing as right and wrong will naturally behave differently from a person who believes in well-defined moral standards.
Paul was telling Timothy, when he said, “they”, he was referring to those who were professing to be Christians. We cannot pick and choose certain scriptures that we like to live by or choose to believe. All of the scriptures apply to us. Some choose not to believe scriptures because of their own carnal desires, or what makes them feel comfortable when it comes to their feelings. True teaching promotes righteousness, and sin flourishes where “sound doctrine” is opposed. The very knowledge of Truth leads us to Godliness.
Prayer: Thank you, Father God, for pastors, teachers, and those who are after Your heart, and those who preach and teach according to Your Word. Father, we pray that You give Your people discernment. We pray that those who do not know the Truth from erroneous teaching or because of their own carnal desires become humble for Truth. That all will know the excellency of Jesus’ righteousness, and His finished works. You, Father, Who is forever truthful, has revealed Your Word to us. In the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen.
